One set of agreements. Paper and digital.

Why it helps

Useful before the event - and at the table

Major tournaments

At major events, players may receive convention cards before play so that they can study their opponents' agreements and prepare when necessary.

SystemCard is designed to keep those agreements clear, current and easy to access.

Club bridge

At an ordinary club session, partnerships may meet several new opponents during the same evening.

Players cannot be expected to know every unfamiliar system or convention in advance. A digital card makes the opponents' agreements easier to open and check when the round begins.

SystemCard is designed especially to make convention cards more accessible in everyday club bridge. It may also be used in higher-level competition where permitted.

Requirements and permitted use depend on the rules of the event.

Two formats

From the same partnership information

Printable convention card

A structured paper version that can be printed and used when a physical convention card is required.

Printable format - planned example

Digital opponent view

A clear screen version that opponents can open on a phone, tablet or computer through a link or QR code.

Live today - see examples below

The two formats are intended to be based on the same confirmed partnership agreements, although their visual presentation may differ.

What SystemCard is becoming

One card to create. One card to keep current.

The planned SystemCard service will make it easier for partnerships to create and maintain their convention card without preparing separate paper and digital documents.

1. Share your agreements

Start with an existing convention card, choose a system close to what you play, or describe your partnership agreements.

2. Review the complete card

Check the information and make sure it describes what the partnership actually plays.

3. Receive both formats

Receive a printable card together with a digital opponent view, link and QR code.

Updates made later are intended to keep the printable and digital versions aligned.
